Job description
About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our backend team and help design, build and scale high‑performance Python applications for our digital roadside‑assistance platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and secure Python applications and APIs.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical design of complex backend systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, tech leads and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain unit, integration and performance tests.
- Optimize code and infrastructure for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best‑practice standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and mentor junior developers.
Required profile
- 4+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and micro‑services.
- Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and deliver high‑quality code.
Required skills
- Python 3.x
- Django, FastAPI or Flask
- RESTful APIs and micro‑services
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Git version control
- Testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
- Async programming (asyncio, Celery) – nice to have
- Event‑driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) – nice to have
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) – nice to have
