Software Engineer III – Backend (Business Domain)

About the role

As a Backend Software Engineer III in the Business Team, you will shape the future of digital payments by designing and building scalable, high‑quality systems that serve thousands of businesses. You will own the full story lifecycle, from intake to production release, while collaborating closely with product and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the story lifecycle from intake to production release.
• Develop and maintain services for fee calculations, invoicing, payout orchestration and settlement flows.
• Build compliance and reporting solutions for periodic reviews and risk assessments.
• Conduct technical analysis and implement scalable back‑end solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
• Share technical vision through code reviews and become a reference for the pod.
• Estimate effort, resolve blockers, and participate in incident resolution.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Problem‑solver with a strong desire to learn and take ownership.
• At least 3 years of industry experience working with Java.
• Clear communication skills and ability to share knowledge within the team.
• Interest or experience in financial systems such as billing, invoicing, payouts or settlement.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
