Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design and implement software that manages our devices, creates user interfaces and handles data flow. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work on image and point‑cloud processing, computer‑vision algorithms and neural‑network models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse software and system requirements and define solutions.
• Design and implement algorithms for image and point‑cloud processing.
• Develop, train and integrate neural networks for classification, detection and segmentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to define interfaces and detailed specifications.
• Write code according to specifications, quality standards and corporate development practices.
• Support testing activities and estimate implementation effort.
• Propose improvements to software products and development procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong communication skills in Italian (B2) and fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C#, C++ (C, Java, JavaScript are a plus).
• Experience with multithreading.
• Knowledge of image and 3D data processing, computer‑vision algorithms.
• Hands‑on experience with deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with OpenCV or HALCON libraries.
