Software Engineering Professor

About the role

H-FARM College is seeking a passionate Software Engineering Professor to join its BSc (Hons) AI & Data Science programme. You will guide students through the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to maintenance, while fostering an innovative and joyful learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars and hands‑on workshops (approximately 36 teaching hours on campus).
• Integrate real‑world case studies to bridge theory and practice.
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to keep the curriculum current and relevant.
• Mentor students on software project management, quality assurance and emerging trends.

Required profile

• Fluent English (B2 or C1 level).
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in the software development life cycle and software architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Software development life cycle (SDLC) knowledge.
• Software architecture design.
• Coding standards implementation.
• Debugging techniques.
