Solar & BESS Construction Site Manager

About the role

Greenbuddies is looking for a full‑time Solar & BESS Construction Site Manager to lead on‑site activities across its European photovoltaic and battery storage projects. You will be the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day construction operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations for solar and BESS installations, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project timelines.
• Monitor progress, manage resources, and control costs to keep the project within budget.
• Maintain high quality standards and performance metrics throughout construction.
• Adapt quickly to dynamic on‑site requirements and travel as needed.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in site and construction management.
• Proficiency in planning, cost control, and budgeting.
• Experience managing large‑scale solar projects or BESS installations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Good problem‑solving skills for on‑site construction challenges.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Technical understanding of photovoltaic and battery storage systems (advantageous).
• Fluency in English; additional European languages (German, French, etc.) are beneficial.
