Spanish Teacher Internship (Unpaid, Relocation to Italy)

About the role

Extramus is looking for an enthusiastic Spanish teacher to join its team in Italy on an unpaid internship basis. The role is ideal for students currently studying in Europe who can use the Erasmus trainee‑ship program or hold a scholarship. You will help students develop their Spanish language skills while gaining hands‑on teaching experience in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement effective Spanish teaching strategies.
• Deliver classroom instruction according to the schedule.
• Develop teaching materials and lesson plans tailored to student needs.
• Ensure accurate pronunciation and comprehension.
• Research modern teaching methods and techniques.
• Organise events to showcase student talent.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Introduce students to Spanish culture, festivals, food, and social conventions.

Required profile

• Written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
• Good classroom management abilities.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, time‑management and prioritisation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude combined with self‑motivation and independence.
• Open‑minded, tolerant and problem‑solving mindset.
