Strategic Business Development Director, Europe

About the role

BRUSH Group is seeking a Strategic Business Development Director for Europe to lead the expansion of its Transmission & Distribution portfolio across key European markets. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer, you will shape market entry strategies and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a strategic playbook for the Transmission & Distribution market in collaboration with product, commercial and business units.
• Participate in business planning, budgeting, monthly financial reporting and operational reviews.
• Identify, assess and develop new partnerships, positioning BRUSH’s portfolio to generate profitable sales opportunities.
• Leverage existing customer relationships to introduce enhanced products and services, lead technical and commercial negotiations, and support project management.
• Maintain deep knowledge of industry policy, market dynamics and data‑protection requirements, influencing strategy where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional electrical/mechanical training.
• Significant experience in engineering, sales or commercial roles within the energy management market.
• Proven track record of revenue generation, strategic planning and market entry for power generation, transmission or distribution solutions.
