Supplier & Commodity Value Optimization Leader

About the role

Within the Purchasing EE Region, the Supplier & Commodity Value Optimization Leader drives technical, marketing and logistics cost‑saving initiatives across the product life‑cycle. The role works closely with purchasing, engineering and external suppliers to boost overall value‑optimization performance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate as a permanent member of OVP groups to translate VO ideas into savings, targeting an annual purchase volume of €40 bn.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess VO idea risks and prioritize supplier management activities.
• Manage VO performance for the top 50 EE suppliers (annual purchase volume €26 bn) using defined KPIs.
• Generate VO ideas with key suppliers and develop transversal savings proposals.
• Lead level‑1 escalations with suppliers and support level‑2 escalations when required.

Required profile

• Strong purchasing background and established network with suppliers.
• Ability to work agilely in a cross‑functional environment and build relationships with engineering teams.
• Excellent synthesis and escalation management capabilities.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range from €43 000 to €55 000, defined according to candidate’s fit.
• Employment under the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10) in the third professional area.
• Location: Torino, Italy.
