Supplier Industrial Engineer Internship

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions. The Supplier Industrial Engineer internship supports the AGS Supplier Engineering Group in validating supplier manufacturing capabilities and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and requirements. You will work on‑site in Treviso, collaborating with New Product Development and Introduction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Assist New Product Introduction teams to incorporate design‑for‑manufacturability considerations.
• Use project management and quality tools to explore alternate manufacturing processes for cost reduction or quality improvement.
• Participate in supplier selection, quality problem resolution, and incident management.

Required profile

• University degree (or in progress) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanics, Chemistry, Materials or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, industrial processes and surface treatments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
