Technical Design Specialist – Greenfield Project (Mantova)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Design Specialist to support the installation, start‑up and operation of a new, highly automated food production facility in Mantova. The role will create and manage technical drawings, integrate supplier data and maintain BIM 360 project structures while ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for the greenfield food production plant.
• Integrate supplier drawings into the master project documentation.
• Create and organise the BIM 360 folder structure for the project.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and the project team to incorporate specifications and codes.
• Perform site visits to take measurements and validate design assumptions.
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams and manuals describing production methods and equipment.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus.
• Experience with greenfield food industry projects is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep project files organised.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Experience with BIM 360 and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• Competence in CADD systems for creating technical drawings.
• Ability to produce technical schematics, diagrams and layout maps.

What we offer

• Permanent, full‑time position under the CCNL Industria Alimentare contract.
• Gross annual base salary of €48,000.
