Technical Sales Engineer – Heat Exchanger Solutions

About the role

Alfa Laval is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to develop and support sales of heat‑exchanger technology in the assigned market. You will work closely with customers in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power and steel to provide technical solutions that meet their process requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical process selections, validate sizing, propose equipment dimensions and perform metallurgy checks for heat‑exchanger applications.
• Mentor colleagues on correct sizing for single‑ and two‑phase duty processes and coordinate with the Project Office in Fontanill, Lund and Never.
• Promote Alfa Laval heat‑exchanger technology, identify new business opportunities and follow up sales cases through the CRM system (OneCrm).
• Quote and negotiate product sales, cooperate with the Services division and organise customer meetings, seminars and training events.

Required profile

• Technical background as a chemical or mechanical process engineer.
• Proven sales experience in project‑oriented industries serving refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas or power customers.
• Proactive, independent decision‑making ability with a strong orientation toward data‑driven results.

Required skills

• Heat‑exchanger sizing and selection.
• Process engineering and metallurgy assessment.
• Use of CRM tools (OneCrm) for opportunity tracking.
