Technical Support Engineer – Simulation (EMEA)

About the role

Join AVEVA’s global team as a Technical Support Engineer focused on Simulation software for the EMEA region. You will help customers maximise the value of AVEVA Process Simulation, PRO/II and Dynamic Simulation tools while developing deep technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a structured onboarding and training programme covering AVEVA Process Simulation, PRO/II and Dynamic Simulation.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to customers, answering enquiries and troubleshooting simulation models.
• Reproduce customer issues, analyse models, identify root causes and collaborate with senior engineers, product management and R&D.
• Assist in delivering customer training courses and workshops, progressing to independent delivery.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, best‑practice guides and technical documentation.
• Support software evaluations and pre‑sales activities under senior guidance.
• Represent AVEVA at customer meetings, user groups and industry events as experience grows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Curious, eager to learn and enjoys solving customer problems.

Required skills

• Experience with AVEVA Process Simulation.
• Experience with PRO/II.
• Experience with Dynamic Simulation.
