Technical Trainer & Software Support Specialist – CAD/CAE

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Technical Trainer & Software Support Specialist to deliver high‑quality training and support for its IGE‑XAO/ETAP electrical CAD‑CAE solutions. You will work on‑site in Bergamo, helping customers adopt and master the software throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions on IGE‑XAO/ETAP electrical CAD‑CAE software to customers and partners.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance via email, phone, and remote assistance.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, documentation, and learning resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and feed product‑improvement insights.
• Assist in pre‑sales activities by demonstrating software capabilities when required.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrical engineering, automation, industrial design, or related fields.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools for electrical design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Bergamo.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
