Territory Manager – City Development (Italy)

About the role

Glovo is looking for a Territory Manager to lead the City Development team in Italy. You will own the strategic and operational growth of a cluster of cities, driving expansion, partner acquisition and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute expansion decisions, coordinating with Operations to improve city coverage.
• Set partner acquisition priorities, manage pipelines and grow top partners.
• Improve partner uptime, menu quality and conversion metrics, and monitor thresholds to avoid content reductions.
• Design and run city‑level promotional plans with key partners.
• Own weekly business reviews and reporting for each city.

Required profile

• Strong ownership and a proven track record of meeting ambitious targets independently.
• Excellent analytical ability to translate data (share, funnel, unit economics) into action plans.
• Strategic prioritisation skills to allocate scarce resources across cities and partners.
• Experience influencing cross‑functional teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing) without direct authority.
• Commercial negotiation expertise, preferably in marketplace, retail, FMCG or food‑delivery.
• Organisational excellence to juggle multiple cities, cycles and stakeholders.
• Adaptable, fast‑paced mindset with willingness to travel regularly across Italy.
• Fluent in Italian and professional English.
