TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative (Float) - Vicenza

About the role

Leidos is accepting applications for a TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative (BSR) FLOATER in Vicenza, Italy, supporting active-duty military members and their families. The position covers the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) under the Defense Health Agency. This is a future-opening requisition: qualified applicants are contacted and added to a pipeline for future vacancies.

Key responsibilities

• Travel 25-75% of the time across the EA region, including Bahrain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
• Process enrollments, disenrollments and portability transfers using systems such as DOES and MHS Genesis.
• Update Primary Care Manager (PCM) records according to Military Treatment Facility guidelines.
• Advise beneficiaries on TRICARE resources, benefits, enrollment and claims, in person and by phone.
• Provide basic claims status updates and lead briefings on events such as in/out processing, maternity and pre-separation/retirement.
• Record daily activities and OHI information in the applicable systems and escalate complex issues.
• Comply with HIPAA, protect PHI and complete required training.
• Support remote assistance, train new team members and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate's degree plus 4 years of health-related experience, or a major certification plus 4 years, or a high school diploma plus 8 years of health-related experience.
• U.S. citizenship and SOFA/command-sponsored status as a dependent of an active-duty service member, DoD employee or U.S. contractor.
• Must hold a Missione Visa and Soggiorno permit and be eligible for ADP IT III clearance (Tier 1).
• 3+ years of customer service experience and willingness to travel 25-75% of the time.
• Preferred: familiarity with TRICARE Overseas Program, DEERS, DOES and MHS Genesis, and a background in U.S. military healthcare, managed care, or medical claims.
