Value Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

Alpitronic is looking for a Value Engineer to join its R&D team and drive cost‑reduction, complexity‑reduction and value‑creation initiatives across electronic products for e‑mobility. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and coordinate value‑engineering initiatives within the R&D department.
• Sponsor and lead development projects aimed at improving value, reducing cost and simplifying designs.
• Organise and facilitate technical cross‑functional workshops focused on cost reduction.
• Foster a continuous‑improvement mindset throughout R&D and other departments.
• Define and implement methodologies to assess strengths and weaknesses of internal and external players.
• Establish and enhance tools for teardown analysis and idea generation.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field.
• Proven experience in product development and validation of electronic devices.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers for electronic products.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or German is a plus.
