Value Engineer – R&D Value Improvement

About the role

Alpitronic is looking for a Value Engineer to lead value‑engineering initiatives within its R&D department. You will drive cost, complexity and value improvements for electronic products used in e‑mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and coordinate value‑engineering projects across R&D.
• Sponsor and lead development activities aimed at cost reduction and value improvement.
• Organise and facilitate cross‑functional technical workshops.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering.
• Define and implement methodologies to assess strengths and weaknesses of internal and external players.
• Develop and enhance tools for teardown analysis and idea generation.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field.
• Proven experience in product development and validation of electronic devices.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers for electronic products.
• Proficiency in value‑engineering methodologies and leading complex improvement projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or German is a plus.
