Vice President of Sales

About the role

Uncaged Innovations is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead all commercial activities and drive rapid revenue growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will build and scale a high‑performing sales organization while shaping the company’s go‑to‑market strategy for its plastic‑free leather alternatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a company‑wide revenue growth strategy, establishing sales processes, KPIs, forecasting systems and accountability structures.
• Develop relationships with executive decision‑makers across target accounts in fashion, footwear, automotive and related sectors.
• Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through deal closure and repeat orders.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Directly lead, mentor and grow the sales team, creating career paths and performance management frameworks.
• Drive weekly and monthly operating cadences focused on pipeline health, conversion rates, customer engagement and revenue attainment.
• Collaborate with product development, R&D and leadership to align customer needs with the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Significant experience selling leather, synthetic leather, coated fabrics or textiles.
• 7+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, including selling hard‑tech solutions into complex enterprise cycles.
• Proven track record of selling to both SMB and enterprise clients in fashion, luxury or footwear markets.
• Demonstrated success leading and scaling commercial teams.
• Fluent in English.

• Strong ability to manage multi‑stakeholder sales processes and negotiate high‑value agreements.
• Experience aligning sales strategy with product development and R&D initiatives.
