Visiting Finance Faculty – Spring 2027

About the role

CIMBA Italy, an international business education program accredited by the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, is looking for an experienced finance faculty member to teach undergraduate courses in person and in English during the Spring 2027 term. The appointment is based at the CIMBA campus in Paderno del Grappa, Veneto, about one hour northwest of Venice, and runs from January 18 to April 9, 2027, with arrival before classes and departure after finals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach FIN:3300 Corporate Finance and FIN:4340 Wealth Management
• Use the University of Iowa's course-management system and provide readings, assignments, activities and other course materials
• Participate in faculty orientation and stay through finals week

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in Corporate Finance and Wealth Management
• Proven effectiveness teaching university students, with positive student evaluations or similar evidence
• Qualifications appropriate for appointment through the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business
• Willingness and ability to live in Italy for the duration of the appointment
• Current tenured or tenure-track faculty, teaching or clinical faculty, experienced lecturers, and emeritus or recently retired faculty are encouraged to apply

What we offer

• Total compensation and expense support of approximately $20,500-$30,000, depending on qualifications and circumstances
• Furnished faculty housing at no cost
• Expense support for round-trip travel to Italy and airport transport, plus a $1,500 allocation for a rental vehicle
• Appointment through the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, with access to faculty resources, libraries and course-management systems
• Existing syllabi and prior course materials for both courses
• Food and personal incidental expenses are the applicant's responsibility
