Warehouse Trainer – Training & Safety Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Trainer to coordinate education and training for new and existing warehouse staff at H.Essers. The role ensures high quality and safety standards across all warehouse activities by clarifying expectations, building competencies, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions for operators, assistant foremen and foremen.
• Maintain and update work instructions for all warehouse activities.
• Administer training records, process courses and map future training needs.
• Monitor shop‑floor performance to verify operator competence.
• Act as a 5S ambassador, promoting the methodology among staff.
• Report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Required profile

• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Sense of responsibility for quality and safety.
• Minimum five years of experience in training, learning & development, logistics or warehouse operations.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).
• Availability to start by October 2026.

Required skills

• Workday or similar HRIS/Learning Management System (LMS) experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of logistics processes.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology.
