Women's Footwear and Handbag Designer

About the role

Magda Butrym is seeking a creative professional to design women’s footwear, handbags and small leather goods. You will work closely with the Creative Director and the design team to shape seasonal collections from concept to final product.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and design team to develop mood boards, concepts and technical drawings.
• Create sketches and detailed technical files for shoes, bags and accessories.
• Partner with Project Management to oversee sampling, ensure timely execution and maintain product‑development workflows.
• Provide pre‑production feedback on samples, reviewing construction, materials, proportions and finishing.
• Research suppliers, materials and leather developments, supporting sourcing decisions.
• Participate in fittings, brief manufacturers and component suppliers, and travel for supplier meetings.
• Contribute to runway shows, capsule collections, collaborations, marketing concepts and visual installations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with leading fashion brands.
• Strong understanding of Magda Butrym’s modern romantic aesthetic.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Team‑player attitude with willingness to handle a wide range of tasks.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
