C# .NET Software Developer (WPF, Azure DevOps)

About the role

MSC Technology Italy is looking for an experienced Microsoft developer to join its growing software team. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from desktop applications to backend services and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the MSC Group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and the .NET Framework 4.7.2 as well as .NET 8+.
• Build robust WPF desktop applications with XAML‑based user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for distributed systems.
• Use and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases, including schema design, query optimisation and stored procedures.
• Implement comprehensive unit and integration testing strategies to ensure code quality.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Maintain code quality through Git version control, code reviews and branching strategies.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners and other developers to deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing software on the Microsoft stack.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Ability to work across desktop, backend and cloud environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in an international setting.
