IT Supply Chain and Logistics Associate Manager

About the role

The IT Order To Cash & Logistics Associate Manager acts as the strategic IT Business Partner for Customer Service & Logistics, driving digital transformation and aligning technology with business goals. The role is based at Barilla’s headquarters in Parma and reports to the D&BT Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service and Logistics Associate Director.

Key responsibilities

• Define application strategy and govern delivery of business solutions for Order‑to‑Cash and Logistics, primarily on SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead cross‑functional and international teams, coordinate external partners and vendors, and ensure continuous evolution of the technology landscape.
• Drive digitalisation, automation, Machine Learning and AI initiatives to enhance processes and establish new ways of working.
• Prioritise initiatives, investments and resources based on strategic objectives, risks and expected benefits.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities, recommend standardisation and quick‑wins, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and data governance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years leading transformation programmes in system integration consulting or multinational IT departments.
• Proven experience in complex global Order‑to‑Cash and Logistics projects.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC for Supply Chain.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications (plus).
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, AI and analytics platforms.
• Project management and ability to coordinate cross‑functional, international teams.
