Junior Engineer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join its construction team in Ravenna, Italy. You will support the execution of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned construction contracts and sub‑contracts.
• Plan and coordinate site activities, labour, materials and equipment.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor progress and quality of works.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Support budget estimates, measurements, cost control and subcontractor valuations.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, quality and health & safety teams.
• Assist with permits, approvals and project documentation.
• Identify deviations and propose corrective actions; prepare progress reports and maintain site records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction, site production or contract administration.
• Experience in civil, infrastructure or marine construction is a plus.
• Good organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
