About the role

Join the Legal Department of a leading insurance group as a Junior Legal Counsel specializing in Data Privacy. You will play a pivotal role in navigating the complex intersection of law, healthcare, and cutting-edge technology, ensuring our innovative projects remain compliant and secure.

Main Missions

• Provide expert legal interpretations regarding privacy and data protection for various business functions and group companies.
• Support the development of new projects and services, focusing on privacy aspects related to health, wellness, and prevention.
• Advise on the use of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, web applications, tele-monitoring, and detection devices.
• Analyze national and supranational data protection legislation to draft formal legal opinions.
• Review procurement offers and vendor contracts to guarantee full GDPR compliance.
• Draft privacy notices for all digital touchpoints, including websites and mobile applications.

Profile sought

• Holder of a Master’s Degree in Law with an excellent academic record.
• Solid foundational knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
• Ideally, a first professional experience (even brief) in data protection within the healthcare or technology sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with a capacity for synthesis and complex problem-solving.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.

Required Skills

• Expertise in GDPR and Data Protection Law.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work with Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word).
• Legal research and drafting capabilities.
