Legal Counsel – Marketing & Creative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join Bottega Veneta’s Global Legal Team. The role will support Marketing, PR, Licensing and Creative functions, providing proactive legal guidance on high‑impact initiatives across the luxury fashion business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements worldwide, including image‑rights, production, music, co‑branding, licensing and sponsorship contracts.
• Lead end‑to‑end legal management of major projects such as fashion shows and advertising campaigns.
• Provide strategic advice on marketing, communication and creative activities, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Conduct intellectual‑property assessments and clearances to secure worldwide rights.
• Identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks in high‑visibility campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Italy.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual‑property matters, gained in law firms or in‑house legal departments.
• Fluent in Italian and English with strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
