Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑paced, cloud‑native team in Italy. You will work on large‑scale Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and GCP, driving automation, scalability, and reliability for high‑traffic, data‑driven platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain production‑grade Kubernetes clusters using GKE and EKS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Helm and Ansible.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure deployments.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Support and troubleshoot PostgreSQL and Kafka environments.
• Automate operational tasks with Python and Bash scripts.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment workflows.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide production support.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with on‑call rotation and production support.
