Onboard Marketing Specialist – Guest Communications

About the role

Explora Journeys is seeking an Onboard Marketing Specialist focused on Guest Communications to ensure every printed touchpoint aboard its luxury vessels meets the brand’s high standards. Based in Milan, you will work closely with onboard operations and corporate teams to deliver clear, consistent, and aesthetically excellent guest‑facing communications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit all guest‑facing messaging for tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
• Maintain and update the content library across printed formats, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboard Desktop Publisher teams, prioritising non‑revenue communication requests.
• Brief external agencies on brochures, signage, and promotional materials.
• Oversee printed collateral such as in‑suite materials, signage, menus, and maintenance notices.
• Manage text and imagery updates within the CMS and coordinate translations.
• Monitor onboard printing operations, quality, stationery standards, and paper inventory.
• Maintain an organised file system for all printed materials and templates.

Required profile

• Experience in luxury hospitality or travel marketing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests.
• Excellent written English and familiarity with international guest audiences.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while preserving brand integrity.
