QA Engineer – Remote

About the role

SupportYourApp is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join its global, multilingual support team. You will work fully remotely, collaborating with product owners, developers, and other QA specialists to ensure high‑quality SaaS and software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans from functional and technical specifications.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases using Zephyr integrated with JIRA.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA, verify fixes, and coordinate retesting.
• Validate user stories against acceptance criteria before release.
• Apply Shift‑Left testing by engaging early in the development lifecycle.
• Partner with Frontend engineers to convert manual scenarios into automated scripts using Cucumber, Gherkin, and Playwright.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to increase automated test coverage.
• Perform network, performance, smoke, and visual regression testing in production environments.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level).
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on QA experience in SaaS or software product companies.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Shift‑Left testing and CI/CD integration.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
