Area Service Technician (Italy)

About the role

TLD, a French leader in ground support equipment, is seeking an Area Service Technician to operate across Italy. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will ensure the delivery, commissioning, and after‑sales support of innovative GSE solutions for airport customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Perform on‑site interventions for warranty requests and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation issues.
• Provide technical expertise, user training, and first‑level maintenance.
• Prepare intervention reports, capture customer feedback, and apply service bulletins.

Required profile

• Higher education qualification in maintenance or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Italy, Monday to Friday.
