Automotive Field Service Engineer

About the role

MSX is seeking a proactive Automotive Field Service Engineer to support its client’s authorized repair network across Italy. The role blends remote technical assistance, on‑site interventions, and training activities to ensure vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to authorized repairers both remotely and on‑site.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns, investigate faults, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Guide repair processes, support warranty topics, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Create detailed technical reports, maintain accurate case logs, and manage MSX and client assets.
• Collaborate independently with internal technical departments.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or proven experience as a Field Engineer, Technical Helpdesk Advisor, or Diagnostic Technician in automotive, truck, industrial, or agricultural sectors.
• Strong diagnostic abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage complex situations, and thrive in a team environment.
• Valid Category B driving licence and fluent English (minimum B1).
