C# .NET Software Developer

About the role

MSC Technology Italy is looking for an experienced Microsoft developer to join its growing software team. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from desktop applications to backend services and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with colleagues across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET Framework 4.7.2 and .NET 8+.
• Build robust WPF desktop applications with XAML‑based user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for distributed systems.
• Design, optimize, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including schema design and stored procedures.
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure high code quality.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage source code with Git, conduct code reviews, and follow branching strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing software with Microsoft technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural teams.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• .NET Framework 4.7.2 and .NET 8+.
• WPF and XAML for desktop UI development.
• RESTful API design and implementation.
• Microsoft SQL Server (schema design, query optimization, stored procedures).
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
