Category Marketing Manager

About the role

The Category Marketing Manager joins ghd’s global marketing team to drive growth through the strategic management, positioning and commercialisation of product categories. You will analyse market trends, optimise category performance and ensure alignment with the brand’s overall marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse category performance, market share (value and volume) and competitor activity on a local basis.
• Lead pricing analysis, develop proposals and monitor KPIs to improve category results.
• Generate regular reports, launch feedback and recommend new product concepts based on market intelligence.
• Design annual promotional plans that support national marketing objectives and sales targets.
• Ensure category profitability, growth and alignment with the broader marketing strategy.
• Maintain a strong digital focus, understanding social media networks and their impact on category activation.

Required profile

• Experience in category management and market intelligence.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Digital affinity and familiarity with social media channels.
