Data Scientist – Global Data Science & AI Team

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Global Data Science & AI team. The role supports the Data & AI function by delivering advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic business decisions across multiple categories and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze diverse data sources such as sales, marketing, promotions, pricing, macro‑economic indicators, eCommerce, and shopper behavior.
• Develop, test, and roll out statistical and machine learning models to support data‑driven decision making.
• Design and implement data cleaning, structuring, and classification pipelines for retail sell‑out, digital shelf metrics, consumer surveys, and third‑party datasets.
• Automate analytical workflows and apply MLOps principles for model deployment, monitoring, and drift detection.
• Visualize results in Power BI and, when required, create UI solutions for self‑service model exploration.
• Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, external agencies, and data‑solution providers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, etc.).
• Experience in applied data‑science roles, preferably within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques including regression, classification, text mining, and ensemble methods.
