Engineering Product Manager (Construction Machinery Attachments)

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Product Manager to lead the development of attachment systems for excavators and wheeled loaders. Based near Bologna, you will work with customers and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and guide product development for the European market.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather and translate attachment requirements.
• Define technical specifications and interface requirements for mechanical, hydraulic and control systems.
• Guide European and Asian development teams in designing and delivering attachment solutions.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and customer visits.
• Support product line expansion and enhance machine capabilities for excavators and loaders.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years experience developing attachments for excavators or wheeled loaders in construction/mining machinery.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with customers and R&D teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and exhibitions.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Hydraulic system design.
• Electrical/control system knowledge (preferred).
• Systems engineering – translating requirements into specifications.
