Field Technician – Tires as a Service

About the role

As a Field Technician for Tires as a Service, you will install and maintain hardware on fleet vehicles, ensuring safety, performance and reliability for Goodyear’s service offering.

Key responsibilities

• Install TaaS hardware on customer trucks according to standards and timelines.
• Prepare, configure and test hardware before installation.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate schedules with fleet managers, workshops and specialised technicians.
• Support third‑party service providers during outsourced installations.
• Manage receipt, quality checks, storage and inventory tracking of hardware equipment.
• Maintain accurate hardware registration, documentation and replenishment planning.

Required profile

• High school diploma (engineering degree preferred).
• 3+ years of mechanical and electrical installation or repair experience.
• Hands‑on experience with tractor‑trailer trucks, telematics or tire systems.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Basic IT proficiency and comfort with digital tools.
• Fluency in the local language and English; willingness to travel 4–7 days per week.
