Fleet Hospitality Director

About the role

The Fleet Hospitality Director leads the delivery of premium hospitality services across the ship fleet, ensuring compliance with Forbes Travel Guide standards and driving continuous improvement in guest and crew satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Learning & Development and HR partners to design and implement tailored training programs for shipboard staff.
• Influence and improve Forbes Travel Guide Quality Assessment and Global Partner Ratings scores fleet‑wide.
• Identify performance gaps from assessment reports and internal evaluations, providing targeted support to owners and department leaders.
• Prepare post‑visit elevation planning reports for the Executive Committee and onboard owners.
• Maintain consistent delivery of Retreat Program service standards, setups, and SOPs.
• Facilitate cross‑departmental communication and champion a consultative, holistic approach.
• Own the Self‑Evaluation 5‑star Performance Platform, ensuring fleet‑wide adoption and data‑driven improvement.
• Perform additional duties as required to support fleet hospitality excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years hospitality experience, preferably with expert knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide service.
• Proven ability to design, build, and implement training programs for shipboard operations.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance‑consulting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Exceptional report‑writing and record‑keeping abilities.
