Full‑Time Medical Receptionist – Geelong

About the role

Lake Imaging is seeking a full‑time Medical Receptionist to join its Geelong region clinics. As the first point of contact for patients, referrers and visitors, you will uphold the company’s high standards of service and support the smooth operation of the imaging centres.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Schedule and manage appointments using the Visage RIS system.
• Process referrals from multidisciplinary teams and ensure accurate patient information.
• Provide patients with preparation instructions, cost estimates and other relevant details.
• Maintain appointment efficiency and support team KPIs.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with experience in a client‑facing role (preferred).
• Willingness to learn medical imaging terminology.
• Strong communication, empathy and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Visage RIS system.
• Advanced computer and keyboard skills.
