A propos du poste

Join aparto, a leading student accommodation community, as our General Manager for the exciting launch of our fifth residence: aparto Bologna San Vitale. You will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in Italy, acting as the driving force behind the successful opening and long-term operational excellence of this new 'home-away-from-home'.

Missions principales

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the full spectrum of property operations, including reception, housekeeping, and maintenance, while ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Fire Safety regulations.
  • Strategic Management: Drive commercial performance through occupancy optimization, pricing strategies, and market intelligence.
  • Business Development: Develop and manage B2B pipelines by negotiating contracts with universities, agencies, and relocation companies.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor the onsite team, including the Assistant General Manager, and coordinate both internal staff and external service providers.
  • Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage daily building operations, handle Italian hospitality legal requirements, and provide structured reporting on finances, sales, and quality to central offices.
  • Community Building: Implement local marketing campaigns and foster strong community relations and partnerships.

Profil recherché

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or residential property management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams (maintenance, cleaning, security).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in sales, business development, and B2B negotiations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex administrative and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is essential for local operations and corporate reporting.
