Head of Design (Fintech AI Platform)

About the role

Rain is the world’s first AI‑driven financial health platform serving millions of employees. As Head of Design you will lead the product design team and partner with product, engineering and marketing to shape the experience of our mobile app, employer portal and internal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee UI/UX design for the mobile app, employer web portal and admin tools.
• Expand and maintain the company’s design system and visual language.
• Drive design for new initiatives such as AI financial assistants, card products, lending solutions and personal finance tools.
• Create and manage marketing collateral, brand evolution and motion design, coordinating freelance resources.
• Collaborate with product and go‑to‑market teams to translate loosely defined requirements into intuitive features.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and shipping complex mobile applications in the fintech space.
• Hands‑on leader who stays ahead of design trends and solves complex UX challenges.
• Ability to define requirements through design thinking and deliver high‑quality assets.
• Experience building and scaling a design team, with a hiring goal for the year.

Required skills

• Expertise in Figma.
• Proficiency with Claude Design.
• Experience directing motion design.
