JLT/VLS Control Room Operator

About the role

Saipem is looking for a JLT/VLS Control Room Operator to join its Asset based Services within Offshore Operations. The role supports senior operators and ensures safe and efficient operation of JLT/VLS systems during offshore installation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate JLT/VLS systems from the control room, guaranteeing safe installation processes.
• Monitor real‑time operations, report status, issues and any abnormal conditions.
• Assist maintenance teams by logging alarms and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow QHSE procedures and contribute to safety practices such as Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analyses.
• Perform accurate shift handovers and maintain detailed activity logs.

Required profile

• Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic Diploma.
• Any relevant previous experience.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Willingness to work on offshore assignments worldwide.
