Junior Project Quality Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is looking for a motivated Junior Project Quality Engineer to join its Quality & Powertrain organization. You will support quality management activities across complex automotive projects, from early development through product launch and the first six months of production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the Project Quality Plan throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support quality convergence from early phases up to SOP + 6 months.
• Assist in setting project quality objectives, targets, forecasts and customer inputs.
• Prepare design assessments and quality sections for program milestone deliverables.
• Apply lessons learned, identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, and support industrialisation quality activities.
• Participate in milestone reviews, track action plans and monitor deliverable maturity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, plants, suppliers and joint‑venture partners on quality requirements.
• Manage issues and risks, conduct root‑cause analysis and define corrective‑action plans.
• Contribute to APQP/PPAP activities and secondary launches, and support product and process quality assessments during serial life modifications.
• Help prepare monthly quality reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Very good command of English and Italian (minimum B2).
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality or Project Management within the automotive sector (internships considered).
• Strong analytical mindset and solid communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and manage structured, collaborative interactions.
