Legal Intern – Corporate & Litigation Support

About the role

Volkswagen Bank is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its Legal Department. You will gain hands‑on experience across corporate, regulatory and litigation matters while working closely with senior lawyers and the Head of Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
• Update corporate powers of attorney and maintain related records.
• Coordinate with external advisors such as law firms, lawyers and notaries, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and contractual deadlines.
• Support the management of litigation and passive legal proceedings.
• Handle customer requests related to Credit Information Systems (CIS) reports.
• Assist with administrative and criminal banking inspections.
• Manage customer complaints, coordinate with other departments, and support appeals to the Banking and Financial Arbiter, Insurance Arbiter, and the Bank of Italy.
• Provide support to the Head of Legal in the role of Data Protection Officer.

Required profile

• Degree in Law or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet objectives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
