Mechanical CAD Design Engineer - Aviation Domain

About the role

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer for its aviation projects in the Brindisi area, Italy. You will join an intensive onboarding program to quickly gain product knowledge, engineering methodologies, and advanced CAD skills while contributing to real engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Model simple and complex mechanical components.
• Model simple and complex assemblies.
• Perform drafting activities and produce detailed drawings.
• Learn, understand, and apply the customer’s standard procedures.
• Participate in concurrent engineering activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in CAD modeling and detailing.
• Proficiency with UG NX10 (or higher) and Teamcenter 11 (or higher).
• Experience creating 3D models, drawings, and engineering bills of material.
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawing creation, reading, and geometric & dimension tolerances.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Italian citizenship required.
