Mechanical Engineer (Automation & Mechatronics)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and integrate mechatronic and automated systems for industrial and manufacturing applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to turn customer requirements into reliable, safe, and high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate mechatronic, electro‑mechanical, or automated systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software and controls teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Support system architecture, component selection and interface definition (sensors, actuators, controllers, drives).
• Participate in prototyping, testing, validation and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support commissioning, installation, documentation and technical training.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in R&D activities and adoption of new technologies in automation, robotics or embedded systems.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of experience in mechanical or automation engineering.
• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D CAD design tools.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Hands‑on experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing).
• Experience using PLM and ERP systems.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical components and subsystems.
• Understanding of automation system design and architecture.
