Mechanical Quality Assurance Manager – Space Products

About the role

The Mechanical Quality Assurance Manager will lead product quality and assurance activities for space‑related mechanical production. Working within the Product Quality organization, you will ensure that mechanical components meet customer requirements and the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) throughout industrialisation and serial production.

Key responsibilities

• Capture project and product requirements and present qualification status.
• Create and update quality documentation in line with customer specifications and the internal QMS.
• Support and apply PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) for manufacturing processes.
• Approve engineering and technical documentation, including manufacturing drawings and Manufacturing Operation Sheets (MOS).
• Monitor qualifications, critical items, and manage quality status of products and equipment.
• Participate in supplier, internal and customer reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, QR, MRR, KIP/MIP, TRR, TRB, DRB).
• Manage NCRs, RFWs, and provide corrective dispositions to customers.
• Alert and communicate any non‑compliance with the QMS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality processes within the space or aerospace domain.
• Strong background in mechanical production industrialisation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work within an integrated, cross‑functional team.
