Merchandiser – Product Range & Sales Optimization

About the role
The Merchandiser will work closely with the Buying and Sales teams to develop and monitor product range strategies across geographies and channels. The role balances consumer expectations with company turnover and profitability goals, ensuring the right products are available at the right price.
Key responsibilities
- Support the manager in achieving a dynamic range that meets consumer demand while hitting turnover and profit targets.
- Assist in pre‑season planning: develop ranges based on historical data and forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Analyze in‑season sell‑through, propose corrective actions, and support techniques to boost short‑ and long‑term sales.
- Monitor actual performance versus plan, implementing stock reduction and warehouse rotation as needed.
- Ensure sales campaign orders align with the defined assortment.
- Collect and analyse market, consumer, and trend data to shape the merchandising plan.
- Continuously monitor competitor activity and external market signals.
- Track individual stock levels against agreed targets.
- Guarantee launch and delivery dates to optimise production planning.
- Promote digital tools and sustainable development practices within the function.
Required profile
- Degree in Economics.
- Master’s in Fashion Management, Buying or Merchandising.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent command of English.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
