Private Equity Club Deal Internship

About the role

The internship is part of the Private Equity Club Deal team at Deutsche Bank Group. You will support the full deal lifecycle—from scouting opportunities to execution—across a broad range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in deal origination, market analysis and due‑diligence processes.
• Prepare financial models, including business plans, discounted cash‑flow (DCF) and leveraged‑buyout (LBO) analyses.
• Conduct valuation using trading comparables and transaction comparables.
• Draft presentations, information memoranda and ad‑hoc analytical reports.
• Support deal structuring, negotiation and the legal aspects of investment contracts.

Required profile

• Excellent academic record with international experience; Bachelor in Finance, Business Administration or related field and near‑completion of a Master in Finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
• Highly motivated, proactive team player with solid finance and accounting knowledge.

Required skills

• Financial modeling (business plan, DCF, LBO).
• Valuation techniques (trading comps, transaction comps).
• Understanding of legal aspects of investment contracts and deal structuring.
• Proficiency with standard PC tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
