Procurement Manager – Indirect Procurement

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Indirect Procurement will lead the sourcing and purchasing of services and goods for OMODA Motors, ensuring cost‑effective acquisition while supporting the company’s strategic objectives. The role requires strong supplier management, contract negotiation and the ability to align procurement activities with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost optimisation and support organisational goals.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability and service criteria.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to secure best value for the company.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance through KPIs and service‑level agreements.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, products and services to meet operational requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and plan purchasing activities.
• Monitor market trends, risks and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, legal regulations and ethical standards.
• Manage procurement budgets and track cost‑saving initiatives.
• Implement and improve procurement processes, systems and tools for efficiency.
• Handle supplier issues, disputes and risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in automotive OEM or consumer electronics.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing and/or after‑sales procurement.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of supply‑chain processes and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical and financial acumen.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
