Product Analyst (Remote, Italy)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Analyst to turn complex product and user data into actionable insights that drive growth and improve customer experiences. The role is fully remote, supporting a digital product portfolio based in Italy, and works at the intersection of analytics, product management, and business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product performance and user behavior to uncover trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Define, monitor, and optimize key metrics such as retention, conversion, lifetime value, revenue and churn.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions for Product, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Conduct deep analyses of customer journeys, feature adoption, promotional initiatives and overall product performance.
• Partner with Product Managers to evaluate new releases, enhancements and A/B testing initiatives.
• Identify friction points in the user journey and propose data‑backed improvements.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure analytical data quality, consistency and availability.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Support segmentation, personalization and market research to boost engagement and business outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role within digital products.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and handling large datasets.
• Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Solid understanding of product analytics, customer behavior analysis, experimentation and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with event‑based analytics platforms (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel) is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital product monetization models and customer lifecycle management is desirable.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced remote environment.
